Baruch Haba – Welcome to Shiloh Messianic congregation!
Shalom,
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to share with you about the ministry of Shiloh Messianic Congregation. Shiloh is a Hebrew word meaning – “to whom it belongs.” It is clear reference to Yeshua – the Jewish Messiah. (Gen. 49:10)
At Shiloh, we desire to help bring down the wall that has divided Jewish and Gentile believers, and to promote the joining of Jew and Gentile together as one new man! (Eph. 2:11 – 16) We desire to educate God’s people (both Jew and Gentile) concerning the whole of scripture – both the Tanakh (Hebrew/Old Covenant) and the B’rit Hadashah (Jesus, the Messiah). (Hos. 4:6) (Col. 2:9)
Shiloh is a place where the Spirit and the Word meet (John 4:23 – 24). In our meetings as well as our daily lives, we want the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit) to move in life-changing power, but in a manner consistent with sound Hebraic (Jewish) understanding of God’s Word!
The Shiloh Mispachah (Family) would like to invite you to join us as we worship the God of Avraham (Abraham), Yitz’chak (Isaac), and Ya’akov (Jacob), in the manner of the first century congregation called the “Way.” (Acts 24:14) The LORD is leading many believers, both Jew and Gentile, into the exploration of the Jewish roots of Christianity. At Shiloh, you’ll not only learn the importance of your roots, but you’ll experience a new depth to your faith as you enter the spiritual rest of Shabbat (Sabbath), the joy of the feast and festivals (Lev. 23), and richness of “returning to the ancient paths.” (Jer. 6:16-19)
It is our conviction that we will not see the return of the LORD until Jew and Gentile (the One New Man (Eph 2:13 – 16), together say “Baruch Haba B’Shem Adonai.” (Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD). (Matt. 23:39)
